An Electrifying Night of Nostalgia: Super 70s Concert Experience & Almost Queen at the F.M. Kirby Center

As we entered through the brass doors of the F.M. Kirby  Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA, I knew it was going to be a  nostalgic night with a great line up.

The Super 70s Concert Experience Super Trans AM opened for  Almost Queen hitting the stage a little after 8 PM. Covering as  many hits of the 70s as their set would allow. Some including  Schools Out by Alice Cooper, Rock ‘n’ Roll All Nite by KISS &  Don’t Stop by Fleetwood Mac. The crowd was electrifying  dancing to the songs.

They performed a few songs in different costumes. For  example, Schools Out they dressed up as Alice Cooper & Rock  ‘n’ Roll all Nite they came out as KISS.

Shortly after 9 PM, Almost Queen took the stage. Their set  started off with a Music Video of them on various stages  through their tours. They opened their set with preforming  We Will Rock You, a classic. The sea of people looked like a  wave as they all moved in unison. Almost Queen also  performed other classics like, Love of my Life, Radio GaGa &  Under Pressure.

Almost Queen brought out a fan made sign from their show  last summer at Mohegan Sun in Wilkes-Barre. The sign asked  them to play Orge Battle and that the fan would see them at  the Kirby Center on November 30, 2024. They said it is one of

their favorite songs to perform live, so they added it to the set  list for tonight’s show.

Both bands put on an exciting performance, and it was a  fantastic way to spend a Saturday night here in NEPA.
