Though the city is known for its bright activities such as Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks, Japanese metal rock trio BABYMETAL brought a new vibe to the city on December 5th. As the third and final day of shows in Anaheim, and the final stop on their 2024 U.S. tour, the three members — Suzuka Nakamoto, or "Su-metal," Moa Kikuchi, or "Moametal," and Momoko Okazaki, or "Momometal"  — brought their highest energy to the House of Blues, setting it ablaze with their passion and fervor.

It’s hard to care about everything, but it wasn’t hard to care about COIN’s performance in Chicago, IL on 10/5/2024 at Aragon Ballroom. They took the stage on a date that was iconic for them and gave a performance to remember regardless of setbacks caused by production malfunctions.

On the way to the Remi Wolf concert, my friend and I are in the car blasting “Cinderella”. My friend turns to me, laughs, and says “ This is such a great song! Remember when I showed you this song?” He always jokes around that he showed me songs when more than likely I introduced him to bops I found. I believe almost everyone remembers the first time they heard an artist they adore. When I first heard of Remi during the pandemic, I listened to her song “Hello Hello Hello” on an Apple commercial. Since that day, I have loved seeing her unique visual and music styles combine and grow; leading to collaborations with other artists I love. Don’t get me started on how eager I was for her song “Pool” with Still Woozy, and seeing Mac Demarco in her music video.

Okay, I have to say it—Club 90s One Direction Night on July 18th was a straight-up dream. Just a day before Niall Horan took the stage at Ball Arena, the Denver club was basically transformed into the ultimate One Direction shrine, and it was everything my 26-year-old heart could have wished for.
