K-Pop Girl Group IVE Discusses New Album, REVIVE+, at First Listening Party in LA
On February 23rd, 2026, IVE released their second full studio album, REVIVE+. To celebrate this occasion, the girl group threw a listening party at the brand new Vinyl Room, a second space opened at the famous Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
The event brought in fans and guests from all parts of town, taking place on a warm Friday evening. Fans were gifted posters and light-up wristbands as they stepped into the quaint, dimly lit venue. Suited to its name, the room was decorated with an endless array of vinyls, creating a unique vibe and ambiance. As fans spread across the lounge chairs, barstools, and sofas, the six members made their entrance, walking over to a set of sofas to relax and listen to their music with their fans, DIVEs.
REVIVE+ has twelve tracks total, and is pairing with the group’s upcoming world tour, Show What I Am. Each track has a different vibe, which the members shared was intentional, especially for the dual title tracks, “Blackhole” and “Bang Bang.” “We really wanted to show two different sides of us with the two tracks,” they shared. “But, we’re most excited to perform Bang Bang during our shows.” Not just in genre, but the two songs also share different styles of choreography. “Bang Bang’s choreography is something we haven’t done before, and Blackhole is very fun to perform because of the table choreography.”
Aside from the two title songs, the album also features “Hush,” “Stuck in Your Head,” “Fireworks,” and “Hot Coffee.” “We have all grown a lot since debut,” they mentioned as they prepared to listen to these B-side tracks. “Hush is also a special song because of its unique high notes, and Stuck in Your Head is a softer track that suits our softest member Rei.” Along with the group tracks, the album also features a solo song from each member, each with their own genre and vibe. Liz’s track “Unreal” is described as a love letter to DIVEs, and if the singer were able to choose a place, she’d love to perform it at a pier for DIVEs. Rei also took part in production for her song “In Your Heart,” and was very grateful to be able to show her own personal style and color to their beloved fans with the track.
Each of these songs will unsurprisingly feature on the setlist of their upcoming tour, Show What I Am. When the members were asked to describe the upcoming concerts with just one word, each one threw something unique into the mix, truly summing up IVE’s versatility and diversity: “Confidence, positive energy, heartwarming, crazy, killin’ it, fire.”
