NW: What’s your favorite holiday tradition or memory?

Vera: Christmas day karaoke!

NW: What’s one song (yours or someone else’s) that feels like a perfect holiday vibe?

Vera: I absolutely need to play ditto by new jeans whenever it's slightly cold out. 

NW: What inspires you most during this time of year?

Vera: The weather has always been my main muse for my art but there's something about the cold that makes me the most passionate when I write. 

NW: Is there a gift you received as a kid that you’ll never forget?

Vera: When I was about 9 my grandpa got me an amp and a guitar and I have used them everyday since.

NW: If you could collaborate with any artist on a holiday song, who would it be and why?

Vera: Bon iver would be super cool since his songs feel like a chill foggy night. 

NW: What’s a non-holiday song of yours that feels like a cozy winter anthem?

Vera: I would have to say my next song that's coming out in the new year called wrong place, wrong timing. It's my first slower (but still up) tempo song and to me it's a very stare at the fireplace with a blanket on the couch type of vibe.

NW: What’s your go-to drink or treat during the holiday season?

Vera: London fog

Vera: Summer insomniacs hitting 1 million streams!
