Friends - Marples

Written by: Aura R.

Marples, an exciting four-piece band from Sheffield, UK, emerged onto the scene in 2021 and swiftly gained traction in the UK Indie music scene. Their debut EP, "In The Attic," dropped last year, and this Friday, December 1st, marks the release of their second single of the year.

"Friends" is a vibrant, upbeat track that beautifully highlights the band's diverse musical influences. It's a fun indie-pop piece fused with funky and pop-surf elements. The standout moment for me is the explosive guitar solo in the middle.

Featuring catchy sing-along choruses and impressive vocals, this song radiates harmony and danceability, signaling the burgeoning talent of this band. Despite its summer vibes, it's an ideal tune for the winter months up north and a perfect fit for the scorching summers in the southern hemisphere. "Friends" will have you nodding your head with a smile from ear to ear!
